Its been awhile.

I made a few minor changes. A new picture and a slightly different color scheme.

I have really gotten into Soul Eater. My current image for my header is a fanart image drawn by me. (Gasp! I draw! XP ) I will probably try my hand at a bit more design later on but I don't feel like doing a ton of work just yet.

I have finally graduated and now am going into the scary world called "working." I'm not there yet, not even at the "looking" phase. >.>;

Some of you may or may not know this but the band, An Cafe, recently played at fanime this year.
Its one of my all time favorite bands; only topped by Kamikaze Boyz (whom I believe are on hiatus as I haven't heard anything from them for awhile.)

There was a Q&A session for them that fanime. Unfortunately, I always blank on things like that. And I always think of so many things later.

I came up with this really fun question that I would love to ask if they come back and have another Q&A. (If not, I hope someone asks this at some other Q&A session for them)
My question would be this: "If you were in a roleplaying game, what character class would you play?" (mage, healer/white mage, fighter, thief/rogue, etc.)

My theories are: Miku would be tank or thief, Kanon might be thief or mage, Teruki would be white mage/healer, Takuya maybe as fighter, Yuki as healer or thief... I dunno.
(I be bored.)
For fun, I'll assign them classes if they were to be a party:
Kanon will be mage and he'd always cast "sleep" (cause mages can cast "sleep" =3), Teruki will be healer (cause it just seems like him), Takuya as fighter, Miku as thief (cause thieves are stereotypically full of energy in rpgs), and Yuki as another mage.

Fact1:
I daydream way too much.
I daydream about characters, story plots... I even daydream while listening to music.
Somehow I can actually imprint an image of something on the space around me. And envision it interacting with my environment. Too bad I can't easily take advantage of that for art. -.-;

Fact2:
I used to play D&D
In my senior year of high school, I met a bunch of friends that played D&D and other tabletop games. But for reasons beyond my control, I got sort of separated from the group... That and I found I liked console gaming more.

Fact3:
I actually own a game that might as well be an reverse dating sim.
I got a pc game around middle school that was supposed to be geared towards girls.
It was set in a school environment and you did lessons.
And you were able to pick one of three guys to "date."
Maybe that's why I've never really been that opposed to eroge? O.o?

Fact4:
I have a couple of personalities
I've been through a lot of crap and somehow I ended up creating a personality to comfort me.
Then that branched to others. They mostly just keep me entertained. -.-;
But it's weird when they give you suggestions. X.x;
Like: "Hey. Put that on photo to expose for 1.5 secs." while printing photos. X.x;
I'm pretty sure this and #1 walk hand in hand... Correction: Hop, skip and sing scary children songs together...
"London bridges falling down... falling down..." -.-;

Fact5:
I used to play the violin.
I attended a performing arts middle school. So I decided to take an orchestra class. I kept playing my whole 3 years at middle school. In fact, I had wanted to go to a high school that offered performing arts classes and had an orchestra. But I was never terribly good at it though.

Fact6:
I have been gaming since I was a child.
I don't remember a time when we didn't have the original nintendo. I pretty much played games on it until we got the N64. My all time favorite was baseball. Lol. The only sports game I ever liked. XD; Except racing games. Who doesn't like racing games? I originally sucked at rpgs but I love them now. >.<

Shigofumi related dream

So I had this dream. As far as I know, there are no plot points or spoilers. As its a dream, not all of this is how it really is on the show.

So the main girl's dad is immortal in the dream. He is this really sexy angel-like being and has been around since when humans were cavemen. So he has this prejudice that humans are disgusting.
And he does these strange human sacrifice... maybe to reduce the number of humans or get rid of some of them for a reason I don't know.

The main girl makes a friend (a guy). Instead of the glasses guy, its his friend. She's always hanging out with him and even invites him to dinner. Her dad doesn't like that she lowers herself to being around humans. And even worse that she picked a human as a boyfriend.

So he decides to disown her by killing her. Only she defends herself by shooting him. (he survives) But she gets in the hospital. Only her father doesn't realize that she's there.

But then he finds out and he's going there to finish the job. The main guy discovers this and rushes to the hospital armed with random sweets (don't ask. Its a dream) and wakes her up from her coma like waking her up from a sleep. (she looks like a normal human here) They run to escape.

The dream jumps to them being in a car. She now is in her shigofumi form complete with wings. They need to get out before the gates get closed. But she can't drive out because the guards will recognize her. So she makes the guy drive. Before driving out, he looks in the mirror on the window shade and notices he looks like her and her dad... White hair, beautiful with wings. Nonetheless, he drives out and they escape.

Shigofumi is quite awesome. I'm glad my friend talked me into watching more.

Onto the new season:
Code Geass is beyond awesome like always.
S.A., Allison to Lillia, and Neo Angelique Abyss seem ok so far.
Macross Frontier is great too.

And the randomness of the day:
I found out one of the reasons why people don't sew in paper. (Besides the obvious... that cloth is warmer) Its so hard. D: Almost impossible to turn inside out and to do complicated stuff. And it tears so easily. D:
hehe. I'm trying to make a teddy bear out of photos for my class project.

PVCs and other anime goods.

Even though I'm not really much into the series anymore...

I still love Sesshou, Kanna and Rin. I think I should get the Sesshou PVC someday.

However, I really wish they came out with a PVC for Kanna. I would so buy it. I <3 stoic characters. And she is rather cute.
A Rin PVC would also be nice...

I could also see them coming out with a PVC for Sesshou's mom. /gg

But they only release stuff for the main (good) characters... boo...

The badguys and the anti-heroies are so often ignored. D:

In other PVC news, I received my Ren a couple days ago. She is rather cute~ <3

I want to pick up the Miyu (Vampire Princess Miyu) PVC/resin kit thingy and the Kanna (AIR) PVC.

I would also like a cuter rerelease of the Fuko (Clannad) PVC. Official touhou PVCs would be nice too... (just not the offical art... >.>; )

And a Rika (Higurashi) PVC.

(Sorry for not updating a lot. My connection at home doesn't seem to like Google often. D: )

In semi-unrelated news, in ch. 475 of IY... man that thing is a monster. Kanna sure gave birth to an ugly child. (not literally gave birth. -.-; )
There's one scene where it looks like she's commanding a mech.
I won't say more or it'd be spoilers. (I highly doubt that many people reading this still care for IY)

What? Inuyasha is a mech series now? XP They're going to go all out with giant robot battles in feudal japan. XP Oooooo~ I can see the parody now. XP

The first episode doesn't disappoint.

I think my faves will be Yukimura Anzu and Amakase Minatsu.

Minatsu hasn't been introduced yet but I like the character art for her. OwO

Koko and Nanaka seem like the ones they want us to like... Standard main females.... yadda yadda yadda....

I also like one of the main guy's friends. The dark haired one.

On a side note, it is definitely a dog.
And I suspect that there will be a girl/robot in the basement.... XD;

It appears Higurashi 2nd season may not be canceled as the rumors say... (episode 13 was released earlier this week.)

But this blog isn't entirely about that... it's been awhile since I talked about Saimoe.

As it is getting close to the finals, I felt that I needed to create an update.

Unfortunately, my Caro and Lutecia didn't make it. D: But Rika is still in it... so Ganbatte Rika!

My predictions for future rounds:

A3-1: Shana
A3-2: Nagi

The B rounds will be a toughy as there are 3 big hitters in here... Konata, C.C. and Isumi.

B3-1:This is up in the air but I have a feeling Konata will win by a margin.
B3-2: C.C.

C3-1: Nanoha
C3-2: Vita

Miyako and Yuna will put up a good fight but I doubt they'd win.

The D rounds are practically anyone's guess.

D3-1: Hayate will beat Yuno by a slight margin
D3-2: Rena and Kagami are 50/50 here in my book...

I really don't care about the E rounds but....

E3-1: Sinku will slaughter Takako
E3-2: Tamao and Ayumi are also 50/50... Maybe Tamao will pull through?

The F rounds.... -.-;

F3-1: Aruru and Suiseseki will battle and much to my disliking... Suiseseki will beat Aruru. D: (I hope I'm wrong...)

The G rounds... The highlight for me... why? Rika. duh.

Long time no post. Work and school have been rather busy. T.T

Anyway... I was wondering why the latest episode of higurashi wasn't aired... so I went to Philanthropy's site.

Here's a quote from them concerning why the episode is delayed:

Higurashi Delayed Due To Killer Lolis In RL
Higurashi no Naku Koro ni Kai was not aired this week as expected. The release was pushed back to a later date, due to a young woman murdering her father on Monday. The broadcaster was worried that this event was caused because the SUPER INSANE CRAZY KILLER LOLI watches anime. Because of this, much anime has been pushed off, including the finale of School Days. This however was replaced with a nice boat, so perhaps Higurashi will too? Who knows. But when it is aired, we will release as usual (hopefully better than usual, even.)

It appears Shana and Evangeline have tied in the first round.

The second round is occurring as we speak; between Momoka from Touka Gettan, Wilhelmina from Shakugan no Shana and Karen from Code Geass. I'm cheering for Momoka but I have a feeling that Karen will slaughter the other two. Not enough people rep Touka Gettan.

The key rounds I am keeping an eye on will be Kagura in A9, Mei in A11, Karura in B3, Konata in B4, Mikan in B8, C.C. in B10, Caro in C7, Ai in C10, Yin in D10, Nanally in E12, Aruru in F2, Eruru in G3, Alice in G4, Lutecia in H4, Gretel in H5 and Alicia in H6.

Reinforce(I) is also in H6 as well as Reinforce II in G1. I believe Konomi is in E11.

I still need to find out which rounds some of my other gals are located.

Toward the Terra episodes 14-17 ; Mononoke

We all know how much I rep Toward the Terra...

These latest episodes were so dramatic. Episodes 15 and 17 were so sad.
Concerning the former: What makes her death so sad... is that she was mistaken and assumed the worst. And later: That poor, poor planet. D:

The children were quite cool in episodes 15 and 16.

And 15-17= Omg! Yay! Blue.... Yay! Yay! ~freezes~ ~cries~ why? no, not him... ~sob~ Episode 17 being the crying part. D:

I really want them to be all... surprise! He's really ____. They better not have... D: ~where's that ice pick?~ XP

Although he is not quite a replacement, the main guy from Mononoke is quite cute as well. The art made me want to run the other way initially but it is somewhat amusing. Almost didn't watch the episode but while flipping threw it, I went: "hey, cute guy. Ok. ~rewinds~"

Key notes of this episode:

1)~spinny, spinny, spinny...~
2)Scary obese child.
3)I always knew pregnancy makes you psycho.
4)Mmm... shiny psychedelic paper.

The second turn off of this show is the cliff hanger ending.. >.>; Some series it works for but this one is just annoying.

In other, better news:
Sayonara Zatsubou Sensei is beyond awesome. I watched episode three the day before all this computer issue stuff. It just keeps getting better. This episode introduces yet another character, Maria. She is so cute. And wacky like the rest of them. But in her case, it really does make you want to protect her.

The series reeks Shaft.... Oh, wacky weird Shaft. OwO

The second season of Higurashi is absolutely wonderful. Although the art in the first season was quite good, the second season makes the first seem like a puddle is to a river. Rika is still cute as ever. All this new plot development makes me drool. I want to know more... (If you know me, you know I get really bad at holding back when I'm curious. D: )

I will update concerning Saimoe 2007 as soon as I reinstall japanese language support. It is kinda hard to read katakana, hiragana, etc. when it isn't displayed right.

So yesterday... I was running around with a friend... and I finally picked up the first volume of comic party. XD;

If Sekihito Inui is back at fanime next year, I'll get it signed.

I also picked up Angel Dust Neo... (How could I not pick up anything by Aoi Nanase. Its Aoi Nanase. XD; ) Though I'm holding off on reading it until I can acquire the first series (angel dust... -.-; )

In other news, someone was posting about Tokyo Mew Mew on a forum I frequent. So I starting thinking....
I really want a PVC of Kish. It'd be hot if its a good one. >.<

I bought the august issues of Megami and G's at Kino on tuesday...
B2 sized poster of Reinforce. Though I think I'll use the Kagami/Konata side...

However, the posters in the issue made me sad... There wasn't much I liked.

G's had Little Buster stick posters... I'm leaving them in their box until I feel like putting them up. I really should get that game though...

Aside from anime and manga, lately I've been playing the new Guitar Hero game, Guitar Hero encore: Rock the 80s. Its alright but highly worth it for just one song...

Rocket Girls Ep. 12

Not knowing whether they lived or died... geez...
A happy, heartfelt show should never have a ending that makes you feel like the characters died.
WTF? She just gives up? They make like they're going to pull off some miracle and that? No consideration for her fellow crew member's life? geez..
Its possible they could've lived but all their shots that suggest it are previous shots from the episode before... #.#

The episode makes me angry.... eww... that type of show should never.... never have that kind of end.

That kind of end works for sad series.... like Kanon or Air... where the plot, that something bad and painful will happen, is built up for several episodes. Not a sudden "this is the last episode... so lets just kill them off" #.#

I wish I stopped at episode 9. Where one of the girls comes back from the jungle.
That would've been better.

Nanoha ep. 12:

Ep. 12 is crazy... Once you think one thing is certain, something happens...
So far Ginga doesn't do much for me...
I'm liking some of the antagonists though.
Quattro is okay.. she may have some potential..
Sei is cool with her abilities... Pretty much no walls could hold her... XP
Though my favorite antagonists are still Agito and Lutecia...

As for the other gals my fave is Caro followed by Vita, Nanoha, Hayate, and Fate...

So many characters... @.@ Quite the change from the original Nanoha, ne?

Its kinda amazing that Nahoha and Nanoha A's got licensed, ne? I'm going to buy both.
Maybe more people will recognize Asami Sanada's role as Vita for future Fanime conventions. (If she returns)
However, I was more shocked at the licensing of Emma. Who saw that coming? O.o? Although I'm saddened that I'll have to hold off on seeing the last three episodes of 2nd act, I'll be buying both seasons at a future date.

Now as of my current anime:
A lot of the new series. @.@ I'm trying to watch too much, ne?

My tops this season are Nanoha Strikers, Toward the Terra, Romeo and Juliet, Sisters of Wellber (or rather Tales of Wellber), Lucky Star, Darker than Black, El cazador de la bruja, Touka Gettan...

There are a few others I'm watching.. mostly comedies like Seto no Hanayomi and Hayate the Combat Butler.

I'm rather addicted to Toward the Terra and Romeo and Juliet however I am greatly saddened that they are mkv only... D: Lately mkv hates my pc or vice versa. @.@ I'm sure when I eventually reformat, it'd fix itself... >.>;

I'm probably one of the few watching Toward the Terra and Touka Gettan. I want to persuade others to check them out. XD Touka Gettan is Carnelian stuff.... Its yummy. It was confusing as hell at first until I figured out the method to its maddness... -.-; Its playing backwards... 5 is before 4.... 4 before 3.... 3 before 2.... yadda yadda yadda.... I'm going to watch the whole thing... then play the whole series from end to beginning. XD; AKA from whatever the last episode is (13, 26, whatever number) to episode 1. >.<>.< I'll check with further episodes to see if my theory is correct. Unless they're evil and change their method every few episodes. X.x;

As you can guess by the sheer number of series, I have rather a huge backlog of anime. yumminess.

Other than anime, I have gotten addicted to Guitar Hero again. XD; I have finally reached lv. hard... Though I've only played the first two songs on hard... I will try more later.
I have started insani's trial of Polyphonica also. It makes the raw of the series make a lot more sense.... Its pretty awesome so far. Too bad my system hates me so for some odd reason, it makes some of the text go down vertically. @.@ eh... so hard to read. Come summer vacation (assuming I'll have time after I get a job), I want to play some of their altogether releases. Especially Visions from the other side. That one looks pretty neat. Maybe cause I've gotten back into the horror genre...

Hehehe~ My life has been stolen lately by Tales of abyss... (and school but who wants to read about that?)
I'm at Isle of Feres. My summary between Radiation Gate and there? -> !@#$%^&* I missed a lot of side quests. Hopefully some I can get back to.... (Well, that's what second play throughs are for...) (I won't give info in order to avoid spoilers. I still need to figure out how to hide spoilers on this here blog) I wasn't intending to look at faqs at all but I kinda got stuck... stupid stuck but stuck.
Gotta return to a couple previous areas and get abilities for Mieu. -.-;; This is all thanks to my stubbornish to use faqs... (I still say they stiffle me. D: )

I started watching Nana again lately. Episodes 31-33 to be precise. I had stopped for awhile to follow the manga instead.... but as scanlations have been slowing down... (scanlators have lives too.... [~cough cough~ I mean: No. They can't have lives also.... They must spend all their time being a slave to me... and scanlating all the manga I want.... mwhahaha~])

I am already familar with this current arc from the manga.... NANA as a whole is so dramatic and mature.... I want them to catch up to what I read in the manga so I can know what happens.... T.T What happens with Osaki Nana....

In other news: Osaki Nana's seiyuu (Romi Paku) won an award in Seiyuu's award. She won best female lead.... I'm not going to say that I wanted her to win... (I was gunning for one of my faves...Noto Mamiko. ) But I do like her voice.

Finished watching episode 2 earlier. (after starting it on fri. ~cough, cough~ I had to put it on hold for a not so oh, so secret... moelicious rendezvous between fellow fanatics...OwO...which I quite treasure. Now whether that's the fanatics or the gathering... I'll leave you to ponder. >.~)

I really enjoyed various aspects of this episode. From the attempts to clean the room to the renovation. ^o^ Mikan and Manabi were quite cute. Mikan in the store and the two during the clean up was <3. I admire Manabi's spirit. It takes a lot of guts to try something like that. She is so good natured.

I can't wait to watch episode 3. I want to see if my suspicions about them being asleep in the room is true. XP Actually, I'm sure its something else that will be a lovely surprise for us as well.

They finally let Zazie have an introduction. Banzai!
But they are so mean... T.T They introduce her and make it seem like they might have more of her in the episode... But no, they just are teasing... D:
They made Zazie sad by ignoring her. "Just Zazie..." T.T

Well... at least she's shown at all. I can collect pics of her. :3
Hopefully soon she'll get some good attention.

Overall, it was a decent episode. This and episode 10 gave me some good material to try to make gifs of Zazie later... OwO

Kanon ep16

So much Shiori love. XD I've been looking forward to this episode...
She is quite cute in this episode. Their little "date"/"hang out" is so romantic. I think it would be rather fun to play in the snow like that with someone close. Though I can't imagine eating ice cream in the snow like that.... but its Shiori so its normal. She doesn't mind eating it in cold weather. She was rather cute when she was playing the hammer game. I like all the cute noises she makes... Especially while playing it.

I'm enjoying how there's a lot more to all the arcs. I'm going to really enjoy Shiori's arc. She has become my top gal in this season of Kanon. Ayu was my fave in the original version but things change and I prefer Shiori now. I guess you could say that I kind of relate to her. (Not in the invalid way.... -.-;; )

If I get unlazy, I'll go back and review previous episodes.

Code Geass manga

I read the first couple chapters of the code geass manga a couple days ago.
It rather surprised me. The manga version is rather quite different than the anime. But the main plot is still the same. It was a different situation where they introduced C.C. and it wasn't quite as dramatic (or extreme.) Kallen was introduced differently as well. (As one would assume given that C.C. was introduced differently.) Obviously, the manga will probably not have all the random yet cool Pizza hut jokes.

well, I'm off to watch Kanon. (Yes, I'm not bothering to try to sleep for reasons I'm not going into now...) Maybe, I'll talk about the episodes (13-15) afterwards.

Chapter 5 of Puchimon..... XD XD XD XD XD XD XD XD XD XD XD XD........... the jokes with the egg are so hilarious.

I must've not got farther than chapter 4 last time I read.... I read a few about 3 years back through a scanlation site that was also doing Sequence. Aoi Nanase really has great art. One of the characters, Ringo, in chapter 4, reminds me of nanoha. XD They're not the same but its awesome nonetheless.

Read Puchimon! Its overflowing with cuteness. >.<

Maybe for a start, I'll give an introduction to what I'm watching and reading...

I'm currently watching: Da Capo, Kanon, Code Geass, Negima!?, Otome wa boku ni koishiteru, Yoake mae yori ruriiro na Crescent Love, and Jigoku Shoujo Futagomori. As well as the raws to Galaxy Angel Rune.
I'm checking out: Venus versus virus and Kyoshiro to towa no sora.
I'm probably will start watching again eventually: Black Lagoon, Nana, Dgrayman.
I'm currently reading: Ichigo 100%, DGrayman, and Love Monster.
I'm gonna start reading Puchimon again as well... Puchimon by Aoi Nanase.
I read a few chapters awhile ago before I knew much about the artist.
